DILG RO2’s Coffee table book Triumphs: a compilation of Cagayan Valley’s Disaster Risk Reduction Management stories was unveiled and distributed to other regions on April 4, 2017 during the 2nd LGRRC Quarterly conference held at the Provincial Human Resources Training Center in Basco Batanes.

The coffee table book is an initiative of DILG R02 through the Local Governance Regional Resources Center. It contains the stories of courageous, optimist, and stead-fast heart of the Cagayan Valley people who surpassed natural disasters.

The book’s title is conceptualized believing region 02 hurdled and succeeded, suffered and stood up, and concluded that the region is resilient.

The unveiling was reinforced by Hon Anastacia Viola’s sharing on the Ivatan’s way of facing disasters. Facing disasters, the Ivatan way is one of the feature stories of the Triumphs.
