CABARROGUIS, QUIRINO, April 5, 2024 --- The Provincial Audit Committee (PAC) chaired by DILG OIC-Provincial Director Karen Joy C. Pablico-Castro convened on April 5, 2024 at the DILG Quirino Conference Hall, Capitol Compound, San Marcos, Cabarroguis to assess the functionality and effectiveness of the province’s six (6) Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (ADACs) for CY 2023.

The PAC validated the Means of Verification uploaded by the LGU ADAC Focal Persons through the ADAC-Functionality Monitoring System in terms of (1) Organization; (2) Allocation of Funds for Anti-Drug Activities; (3) Formulation and Implementation of Plans and Programs; (4) Supervision and Support to Component ADACs; (5) Conduct of Meetings; and (6) Innovations.

The gaps identified during the assessment were noted down by the members as basis for their instructions and execution of succeeding activities which are critical to increase and sustain MADAC performance.

The results of the ADAC Performance Audit shall serve as one of the indicators of the Safety, Peace, and Order governance area of the Seal of Good Local Governance.

Members of the PAC include PLTCOL Ramon M Macarubbo, Jr. from Quirino Police Provincial Office, Provincial Officer Rosario V. Abella from Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, and CSO Representative Bernardo T. Soriano from Provincial Agriculture and Fisheries Council.
