CABARROGUIS, QUIRINO, April 22, 2024 --- The Provincial Audit Committee (PAC) for the Peace and Order Council (POC) Performance Audit convened on April 22, 2024 at the DILG Quirino Conference Hall, Capitol Compound, San Marcos, Cabarroguis to assess, deliberate, and evaluate the documents of the six (6) Municipal POCs in the province for the year 2023.

The PAC validated the performance of the MPOCs thru the Means of Verification (MOVs) uploaded in the POC Audit System in terms of Functionality Indicators consisting of (1) Organization; (2) Meetings; (3) Policies, Plans, and Budget; and (4) Innovations; and Development Indicators consisting of (1) Addressing Criminality; (2) Ensuring Public Safety; (3) Gender Sensitivity; and (4) Citizen Participation.

With guidelines set anew and direction of the audit becomes clearer, PAC committed to initiate more tailor-fit approach that will help MPOCs maintain their High Functional rating, and more importantly, materialize measures that will produce impact in their locality.

The PAC is composed of OIC-Provincial Director Karen Joy C. Pablico-Castro as Chairperson, and DPDO Michael A Aydoc from Quirino Police Provincial Office, Provincial Fire Marshall Erwin L Casil from Bureau of Fire Protection, SJO2 Tony C Garcia from Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, IA I Leoring Joy E. Valdez from Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, and CSO Representative Filemon V. Ranchez, as members.

The activity was also attended by PM Blessing Grace G. Sagun, LGOO V Carolyn C. Mateo, and LGOO II John Lambert A. Pascual.
