
CABARROGUIS, QUIRINO - On May 21, 2024, DILG Quirino, through the Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Team (PIAMT) conducted functionality assessment on the Local Committees on Anti-Trafficking and Violence against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) of the six (6) municipalities in the province for CY 2023.
DILG Quirino OIC Provincial Director Karen Joy P. Castro, CESE led the assessment emphasizing the importance of assessing the functionality and effectiveness of the LCAT-VAWCs based on existing policies and issuances.
The six (6) local committees were assessed in the areas of (1) Organization; (2) Meetings, (3) Policies, Plans and Budget, and (4) Accomplishments. Result of the assessment revealed that all municipalities achieved above 80% rating which is considered highly functional, to wit:
Aglipay 95% Diffun 103% Nagtipunan 106%
Cabarroguis 99% Maddela 103% Saguday 105%
