CABARROGUIS, QUIRINO, May 23, 2024 --- The Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (PIMTF) gathered on May 23, 2024 at the DILG Quirino Conference Hall, Capitol Compound, San Marcos, Cabarroguis for the Provincial level Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA).

In her message, OIC PD Karen Joy C. Pablico-Castro, CESE underscored the significant role of LGUs in creating an environment where children are safe and nurtured. “PIMTF carries the same weight of responsibility as we have the capacity to amplify their efforts by bringing in people who can help them advance these goals”. She ended her message urging the body to advocate for child-friendly initiatives not only within the corners of their workplace but also in their everyday lives.

Thereafter, LGUs were assessed of their FY 2022 performance in implementing child-friendly policies, programs, projects and services, following the indicators categorized under the four (4) Core Rights of Children (Survival, Development, Protection, and Participation) and Governance. The initial findings were noted down and cascaded to the municipal local governments for their review and revision.

The PIMTF was composed of OIC PD Castro, Senior Education Program Specialist Division Information Officer Arnold O. Saballa from the Department of Education, Nutrition Officer IV Luningning P. Rhodes, Early Childhood Care and Development Officer Daisy V. Garcia, Social Welfare Officer II Lilibeth A. Sampaga, Health Education and Promotion Officer I Melanie L. Dotuerte, and Nurse I Sheryl R. Rosales.

Also present to provide assistance were Program Manager Blessing Grace G. Sagun, LGMES Chief Carolyn C. Mateo, and LGOO II John Lambert A. Pascual.
