
BAYOMBONG, NUEVA VIZCAYA – Earlier today, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Nueva Vizcaya successfully convened the Multi-Stakeholders Advisory Committee (MSAC) for an organizational meeting and a comprehensive discussion on the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Governance Assessment Report for the year 2023.
The meeting, spearheaded by the DILG, was led by Regional Director Agnes A. De Leon, CESO V, along with Provincial Director Catherine G. Allam-Miranda, Program Manager Melania M. Seangoy, and other dedicated staff from the DILG Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Office.
LGOO II Kesha Mae F. Antonio-Humiwat warmly welcomed the heads of offices from various national government agencies (NGAs) in the province. The SGLG Governance Assessment Report for 2023 was thoroughly discussed by LGOO V James Daryll B. Liggayu, providing valuable insights into the province’s governance performance. Additionally, LGOO II Keith Clarence R. Bunagan presented the DILG Nueva Vizcaya Sub-Local Government Resource Center (Sub-LGRC) and its milestones over the years.
The meeting culminated with a commitment-setting session from the various NGAs, fostering a spirit of collaboration and shared insights on improving governance and service delivery in Nueva Vizcaya.
This organizational meeting marks a significant step towards enhancing multi-stakeholder engagement and upholding the principles of good governance within the province.
