
The simultaneous inauguration of the following Infrastructure Projects
- FY 2022 SGLGIF Improvement of Municipal Health Center, Municipal Compound Gonzaga – Cagayan
- FY 2023 LGSF – SBDP Construction of Level II Potable Water System, Brgy. Sta Clara, Gonzaga – Cagayan
- FY 2024 LGSF – SBDP Improvement of water System in Brgy. Pateng, Gonzaga – Cagayan
- FY 2024 LGSF – SBDP Concreting of Barangay Road of Isca, Gonzaga - Cagayan
The inauguration ceremony gathered key officials, representative from the DILG Region 2, headed by RPDMU Chief Atty. Rambo R. Tambauan, DILG Cagayan Provincial Director Marietta F. Abalus, CESE, Cluster Head Luis Udanga, and Gonzaga - MLGOO Amy Tabieros,also present were Hon. Marilyn S. Pentecostes,representatives from the Philippine Navy, Philippine National Police members of the LPMC of the three Barangay namely(Barangay Isca, Barangay Pateng and Barangay Sta. Clara)
The event commenced with the blessing of the newly built structure, followed by a heartfelt message from Mayor Marilyn S. Pentecostes, Hon. Pentecostes highlighted: A testament to hope and our commitment to a brighter future for our constituents. These projects are more than just investments; they are essential tools for improving quality of life and fostering sustainable development in our barangay.”
Atty. Rambo R. Tambauan, on behalf of RD Agnes A. de Leon, CESO IV emphasized the LGU's commitment to the successful implementation of infrastructure projects through collaborative efforts, Atty Tambauan also commended the Municipality of Gonzaga for effectively maintaining previously funded local infrastructure projects.
DILG Cagayan Provincial Director Marietta F. Abalus, CESE, delivered her message commending the Local Government Unit (LGUs) efforts in driving progress that directly benefits their constituents, also recognized the Local Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC) for their active involvement in project monitoring that plays a vital role in ensuring the success and sustainability of the project implementation. “The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)— stand as your steadfast partners in local governance, working together toward a better and more prosperous future for our communities.”
In conclusion, members of the LPMC from the Barangay Isca, Pateng, and Sta. Clara expressed their gratitude for the Department’s support in fostering a better and more progressive life for their constituents.
