The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 2 – Regional Sub-Committee on Anti-Red Tape (RSCART) has continued its National Frontline Services Inspection on May 15, 2025 at the Municipal Field Office of DILG Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya and the Provincial Office of DILG Nueva Vizcaya.

This field-level inspection aims to strengthen the Department's commitment to ensuring responsive, transparent, and efficient public service delivery in accordance with Republic Act No. 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018.

The inspection covers two key frontline services rendered by the Department:

  1. Request for the Issuance of Department Authority to LGUs to Purchase Vehicles; and
  2. Request for the Issuance of Certificate of Incumbency of Local Officials.

These services are critical to empowering Local Government Units (LGUs) in the performance of their mandates, and in promoting accountable, accessible, and citizen-focused governance.

The activity in DILG Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya was facilitated by Ms. Maria Karen C. Tanjusay, Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) assigned to the municipality. Meanwhile, the inspection at the DILG Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Office was conducted under the leadership of Provincial Director Catherine G. Allam-Miranda, CESE.

This undertaking reflects the Department’s broader commitment to institutionalizing performance standards and improving the delivery of government services across all levels of local governance.
