PANNINAN, SAN MARIANO – The Local Government of Unit of San Mariano, Isabela, together with various national government agencies led the conduct of Serbisyo Caravan in Barangay Panninan on January 31, 2023.

One of the 17 target barangays under the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) in the municipality, the caravan was held at Panninan Community Center where a number of basic services were afforded to the residents as part of the government’s peace-building efforts and in its bid to bring its services closer to the people.

Punong Barangay, Hon. Robert T. Torino, expressed his gratitude to the LGU and national government agencies present for the services they offered his constituents during one-day endeavor.

Addressing those present during the caravan, Municipal Vice-Mayor, Dean Anthony G. Domalanta, told that the current situation of the barangay, particularly that of the elementary students, were already brought to the attention of those concerned, including, DILG Regional Director Jonathan Paul M. Leusen, Jr., and he pins his hopes that the same will also be endorsed further to higher development and planning bodies.

Dir. Leusen, on the other hand, also informed the residents that a part of development interventions in the locality is the implementation of projects, such as the Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP) hence, he encouraged the LGU to fast track the implementation of these projects.

Present during the caravan are DILG Isabela Provincial Director Engr. Corazon D. Toribio, CESO V, Sanggunian Bayan Members, representatives from partner agencies such as PNP, AFP, TESDA and DTI, and different department heads of LGU-San Mariano.
