DILG REGIONAL OFFICE 2 – DILG R2 Regional Director, Jonathan Paul M. Leusen, Jr., led the inauguration of the newly-constructed DILG Regional Annex and DILG Quirino Provincial Office buildings on June 8 and 9, 2023, respectively.

Joining him during the inauguration were Assistant Regional Director Elpidio A. Durwin, Finance and Administrative Chief Ive B. Saludez, LGCDD Chief Elsbeth T. Maralli, LGMED Chief, Maybelle E. Anog and Head Executive Assitant, Atty. Sherick L. Saquing.

Funded by the DILG Central Office, the annex building will house the Commission on Audit office, a bigger conference hall, employee’s cafeteria, and a health and wellness center. The Quirino Provincial building, on the other hand, boasts a wider and better facility for its operating units that will surely benefit its employees and personnel as well as its primary clients, local government units in the province.

Following the blessing of the building, Dir. Leusen gives a short message to the employees and personnel of the DILG Quirino during the inauguration ceremony.

Director Leusen delivered a message and expressed his gratitude to the collaborative efforts, most especially, the endearing and impalpable service beyond duty of the people behind these remarkable projects, which will certainly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Department’s services. Meanwhile, ARD Durwin reminded everyone that the buildings are a legacy that will always be remembered as built during administration and leadership of Director Leusen.

The inaugurated buildings are the first to be built in a series of projects which also include the construction of the office buildings for the provinces of Nueva Vizcaya and Batanes, which are currently pegged at 97.74% and 10.00%, respectively.
