CABARROGUIS, QUIRINO – The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 2 spearheaded by Regional Director Agnes A. De Leon turned over the completed FY 2022 Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP) projects to LGU Cabarroguis last September 5, 2023.
The Rehabilitation and Concreting of Farm to Market Road Projects worth Php. 4,000,000.00 each was implemented in Barangays Dibibi, Dingasan, Eden, and Tucod. The inauguration and turnover ceremony was led by the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Avelino N. Agustin, Jr., together with the Municipal Engineering Office.

RD De Leon recognized the laudable performance of Quirino in the implementation of Department PPAs, particularly on Locally-Funded Projects. She highlighted the importance of these projects, especially in conflict-ridden communities. She also expressed commendation on the dedication and unity of the local officials and functionaries in serving the kailyans.
Quirino Board Member Babylyn G. Reyes, representing Gov. Dakila Carlo E. Cua, also expressed the full support of the Provincial Government to the partner agencies involved in the successful implementation of these projects.
Mayor Agustin conveyed his gratitude for being a recipient of these projects that benefited his people. He hoped that this program will continue to be implemented by the National Government because it continues to pave the way for a progressive community.
Hon. Julius Bulting, Hon. Moreno Nginhina, and Hon. Reynaldo Marzo, Punong Barangays of the recipient barangays, likewise expressed words of gratitude for turning their aspirations into reality.
Among those in attendance are the DILG Quirino Personnel headed by OIC Michael E. Camacam, Personnel of the 86th Infantry – Highlander Battalion 5th ID of the Philippine Army, Sanggunian Bayan Members, Municipal and Barangay Officials and Functionaries, representatives from the contractor and the project beneficiaries.
