DILG REGIONAL OFFICE 02 – Incumbent Quirino Provincial Director, Atty. Salvacion Z. Baccay is formally sworn in as the new Assistant Director of the DILG Central Office – Bureau of Local Government Supervision (BLGS) on Monday, October 16, 2023.

Assistant Director Baccay took her oath in a virtual ceremony administered by DILG Undersecretary, Marlo L. Iringan, together with Ms. Yvette R. Cosio for the City Director in Angeles City, Pampanga post. Prior to her stint as Quirino Provincial director, Atty. Baccay served as Supervising Administrative Officer of the DILG Regional Office 2.

Usec. Iringan congratulated the newly-promoted officials and he encouraged them to continue serving the public with integrity and commitment.

Director Baccay for her part, thanked the DILG R2’s officialdom for the all the support she received. She also expressed her gratitude to the DILG Central Office Management, particularly SILG Abalos and Undersecretary Iringan for believing in her potential in public service, and she assured them that she will not shirk away the duties and responsibilities of her new office

Also present to witness the the virtual oath taking ceremony were DILG Regional Director Agnes A. De Leon, Assistant Regional Director Elpidio A. Durwin, Head Executive Assistant Engr. Elma M. Urbina, Division Chiefs, Elsbeth T. Maralli, and Ive B. Saludez, and the family and relatives of Atty. Baccay.
