CITY OF ILAGAN, ISABELA, January 31, 2024 – Various strategies were identified during a meeting held, for the implementation of the Katuwang sa Diwa at Gawa para sa Masaganang Ani at Mataas na Kita (KADIWA) ng Pangulo in the Province of Isabela.

Representatives from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Office of the Provincial Agriculturist of the Provincial Government of Isabela (PGI-OPA) convened in virtual a meeting to discuss upon their roles and responsibilities, and the plan of action to ensure the smooth implementation of the KADIWA ng Pangulo program.

DILG Isabela Provincial Director Corazon D. Toribio encouraged all the members to foster collaboration and build a stronger partnership to effectively carry out the objectives of the said program.

The KADIWA ng Pangulo is a joint program and collaborative arrangement among concerned national government agencies and local government units that aims to support farmers, micro-entrepreneurs, and micro, small and medium enterprises in marketing their produce and/or products directly to the consumers.

It jumpstarts and revives the economy by encouraging consumer spending and ensuring food security by providing access to nutritious and affordable goods and commodities to the public.
