
Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 2, renews its commitment to excellence and service with the successful orientation and workshop on the regional cascading of the DILG Strategic Plan 2023-2028 held on March 19, 2024, at the NGN Gran Hotel in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
Under the guidance of Assistant Secretary Francisco R. Cruz and a dedicated team from the central office, including the Planning Service (PS), Financial Management Service (FMS), and Support to Local Governance Program-Project Management Office (SLGP-PMO), the event exemplified a concerted effort towards realizing the objectives outlined in the strategic plan.
The DILG Strategic Plan 2023-2028 underscores the importance of collaboration and partnership-building within the DILG family and beyond. It aims to foster alliances and strengthen linkages locally and internationally, ensuring that interventions are forward-looking and impactful for the Filipino people.
Led by Regional Director Agnes A. De Leon and Assistant Regional Director Elpidio A. Durwin, the event witnessed active engagement from Provincial Directors, Cluster Heads, Division and RPDMU Chiefs, and Regional Budget and Planning Officers. This inclusive approach reflects R2's commitment to collective progress and shared goals.
