
JONES, ISABELA - In an endeavor to enhance medical services, the Local Government Unit of Jones, Isabela, utilized its FY 2022 Support to the Barangay Development Program (SBDP) to upgrade Barangay Villa Bello’s health center with a birthing facility. A ceremonial ribbon cutting and blessing of the health center were presided over by Barangay Villa Bello, led by Municipal Administrator Manuel Cabungcal on behalf of Mayor Nhel C. Montano, and Cluster Head Imelda L. Aquino of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Isabela.

The ribbon cutting was graced by LGU functionaries, Villa Bello elective officials, and staff led by Punong Barangay Rogelio B. Princesa, accompanied by MLGOO Janice Q. Sta Cruz with the staff and representatives from DILG Isabela and the Regional Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU) of DILG R2, along with the 86th Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army, led by 1LT Melvin B. Pepino, on April 5, 2024.

Municipal Administrator Cabungcal expressed gratitude on behalf of the elective officials of LGU Jones, thanking the DILG for making the project possible. He pledged the LGU’s commitment to maintain the facility for the community of Villa Bello. Following the ceremonial inauguration, the PDMU staff inspected the proposed site for the FY 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLG-IF) along the stretch of road from Barangay Diarao to Abulan.
