TUGUEGARAO CITY, CAGAYAN — As part of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA), the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 2 in partnership with Pru Life UK and Landbank of the Philippines conducted Financial Literacy to all DILG R2 Personnel during the Monday Convocation on September 9, 2024, at the Conference Hall, DILG Regional Office 2, Regional Government Center, Carig, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

Engr. Marielle Dumlao, Financial Consultant of Pru Like UK, discussed Financial Planning and Investment Opportunities, focusing on the importance of long-term goals. Also, Mr. Bernard A. Evangelista, Branch Manager, and Ms. Kaycee Balisi, Salary Loan Bookkeeper of Landbank of the Philippines, discussed managing finances through the Landbank Electronic Salary Loan and Consumer Loan Products.

 In addition, a wellness program in partnership with Mint & Thyme Spa offered free wellness services to DILG R2 personnel.

 This initiative aims to promote financial knowledge and foster responsible financial habits and health and wellness among employees.
