The ceremony was graced by Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 02 Assistant Regional Director Elpidio A. Durwin and was accompanied by Cluster Head Luis E. Udanga, MLGOO Vilma B. Aganus, and representatives from the Regional Project Development and Management Unit (RPDMU). Also present were Municipal Mayor Licerio Antiporda III, LGU Buguey functionaries and barangay officials of Barangay Villa Cielo.
ARD Durwin expressed his gratitude to LGU Buguey for their continuous support to the programs and activities of DILG while highlighting the additional grant amounting to P5,000,000 under the SBDP for concreting the road in Brgy. Villa Cielo.
Mayor Antiporda supplicated that the road concreting through the SBDP will be a great help for Buguey’s MDRRMC in providing rescue services now that the road to Brgy. Villa Cielo will be connected to the super highway. The Concreting of Barangay Road in Villa Cielo aims to establish an accessible road for the barangay to ensure a quick public service delivery.
