Tagaytay, Cavite — The Department of the Interior and Local Government Region 2 (DILG R2) received notable recognition at the DILG 4th HR Summit: "Strengthening Internal Governance and Elevating the Capability of DILG Personnel" held at Hotel Casiana, Tagaytay City, Cavite, from October 2 to 4, 2024. The summit brought together key personnel from various regions to discuss and improve human resource management practices.

 DILG Region 2 was recognized in three categories during the summit: 

• 2nd Place for Most Filled Vacancies as of the 3rd Quarter of 2024;
• Most Compliant Region in Strategic Performance Management System; and
• Top Performer in the Pursuit of PRIME-HRM Accreditation

 These awards underscore the region's commitment to human resource excellence, contributing to the department’s overall goal of achieving PRIME-HRM Level III accreditation under the Civil Service Commission’s Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM).
