
SAN AGUSTIN, ISABELA — The Local Government Unit of San Agustin formally held the blessing and turnover ceremony of its FY 2023 Seal of Good Local Government Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) Project on November 20, 2024.
The purchased Patrol Vehicle funded through FY 2023 SGLGIF will be deployed in the San Agustin Municipal Police Station (SAMPS) to maintain the peace and order of the municipality and strengthen the police presence especially in remote areas.
The inauguration was graced by Isabela Provincial Director Engr. Corazon D. Toribio, Cluster Head Imelda L. Aquino, MLGOO Jesse G. Jimenez, and representatives from the Regional and Provincial Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU). Also present were local elective officials and functionaries led by Mayor Cesar Mondala and the SAMPS personnel.A representative from RPDMU delivered the message of RD De Leon congratulating LGU San Agustin for the successful utilization of the incentive fund.
Despite her absence, Regional Director Agnes A. De Leon conveyed her message congratulating LGU San Agustin on the successful use of the incentive fund to purchase a patrol vehicle. She emphasized the vehicle's importance in maintaining peace and order, particularly in remote areas. Additionally, she challenged the LGU to strive for the 2025 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG).Isabela PD Engr. Toribio urges LGU San Agustin to prepare for the 2025 SGLG.
Meanwhile, PD Toribio echoed RD De Leon’s message, urging LGU officials to start preparing early and work harder to secure the SGLG next year.
