Today, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., accompanied by the Secretary of the Interior and Local Government and other Cabinet officials, visited three strategic areas in the Cagayan Valley Region: the Province of Nueva Vizcaya, the Municipality of Cabagan, and the City of Ilagan in the Province of Isabela. The visit aimed to distribute various forms of assistance and implement programs benefiting farmers, fisherfolk, and their families.

President Marcos emphasized that he has directed relevant agencies to allocate immediate assistance for families affected by the recent consecutive typhoons that struck the region. He also announced plans to implement infrastructure projects designed to mitigate flooding and other disaster risks.

The event was attended by DILG Assistant Regional Director Elpidio A. Durwin, DILG Isabela Provincial Director Corazon D. Toribio, DILG Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Director Catherine G. Allam-Miranda, as well as local officials and representatives from other national government agencies.
