The Department of the Interior and Local Government Regional Office No. 2 is starting to innovate their manual operations by implementing IT systems which was developed by OJT students from different schools and universities in the region.
Four students from the University of St. Louis Tuguegarao proved that IT Programmers are the new marvels of modern day science as they developed an efficient and user-friendly Human Resource Information System for the DILG.
In response to the President’s call on war against drugs, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) launched Mamamayang Ayaw sa Anomalya, Mamamayang Ayaw Sa Iligal na Droga (MASA MASID) Program in the region last November 4, 2016. The five provinces of the region also had their provincial launching, gathering representatives of all sectors to participate in this community-based program that intensifies the spirit of volunteerism at the community level.
