Tuguegarao City, Cagayan (January 03, 2018) — On the first working of day of 2018, RD Jonathan Paul M. Leusen awarded Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) checks to 1 Province, 2 Cities and 10 Municipalities in the Region amounting to Twenty-Seven Million Eight Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 27,800,000.00).
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Quirino facilitated the completion of the 2018-2022 Local Road Network Development Plan (LRNDP) of the Provincial Local Government Unit of Quirino in a series of activities called “Training-Workshop on Local Road Mapping” on December 6-7, 2017 at One Tagaytay Place Hotel Suites, Tagaytay City and “Seminar-Workshop on the Updating of the LRNDP” on December 11-12, 2017 at Camayan Beach and Resort, Subic, Zambales.
In 2003, the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region 02 launched the Local Government Unit Incentives and Awards (LGUIA) Program. From then onwards, performer-LGUs are conferred in recognition to their exemplary performance.
