CABAGAN, ISABELA — The Municipality of Cabagan, a recipient of the 2024 Galing Pook Awards, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of its Inclusive Learning Resource Center (ILRC) on June 10, 2025. The project will be funded under the FY 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF).

MALLIG, ISABELA — The Municipality of Mallig inaugurated its newly completed Level III Water Supply System on June 3, 2025, in Barangay Manano. The project was funded under the FY 2024 Support and Assistance Fund to Participatory Budgeting (SAFPB), a program that fosters inclusive and participatory local governance.

Durwin brought together key representatives from member agencies to assess current preparedness efforts, share updates, and strengthen coordination ahead of the anticipated La Niña season.

Marcos Jr.’s call to eliminate gender-based discrimination and advance women’s rights, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) recognized sixteen (16) of its regional offices for exemplary performance in gender mainstreaming under the Gender and Development (GAD) Seal Certification Program.
